Katja Potensky is a Principal Software Engineer at adesso with more than a decade of experience of working in most roles on the technical side of projects of every size. She thinks of herself as focused on simplicity and open minded, though she has told I sometimes come across as untouchable — if you have any questions please just ask her, she doesn’t bite 😉 When she is not coding she likes to ride rally motorcycles and has been known to tinker with them from time to time — occasionally even with moderate success.
Martina Kraus has been active in the world of web development since her early years and has gradually become an expert in web security. As an Security Engineer, she focuses on integrating security best practices into all phases of software development. In her role as a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Angular, she enjoys sharing her knowledge of Angular security at both national and international conferences. She also regularly organizes ngGirls events (free Angular workshops for women) and is currently writing a book in German about authentication and authorization in web applications.
After completing her training as an application developer, Ramona Schwering has been working in product development at shopware AG for over seven years: first in quality assurance and now as a software developer. She possesses both perspectives on the product – that of a tester and that of a developer. Ramona primarily uses this to strengthen confidence in test automation and to support the testers. The end-to-end automation in Shopware originated from her work, and she continues to drive it forward with vigor.
Hilko Holweg is a frontend developer at Heise Medien, where he is particularly passionate about web performance. He also enjoys writing about technology, be it in c’t, his private blogs, or occasionally on the heise Developer blog “Ich roll’ dann mal raus” (I’ll just roll out), where he reports on the daily work of web development at heise online.
Jo Bager has been working as an editor for c’t and heise online for more than 20 years. As deputy head of the Software & Internet department, he occasionally contributes articles on the web and web development to the magazine. Recently, however, his main job has been to prepare the flood of AI news for the magazine.
Herbert Braun built his first website in the era of table layouts and blink tags. In the meantime, he was an editor at c’t, for which he still occasionally writes about news from the world of web development as a freelancer. After a few years as a freelancer, he currently works at IBM iX as a senior front-end developer.
